What
a Season! We had a great time this year, and I can absolutely admit it was our best season ever.....the Tour keeps better, year after year. I want to thank the Southern Fried Football™ Staff that is so dedicated to this project; they make it fun to show up every week to hit the road and enjoy college football at its finest. It's hard to believe that we've been doing this for 13 years, but 2011 plans on being the biggest and best season with new elements already being developed. This year the sponsors were fabulous, and I can vouch for all the fans that loaded up with all the "freebies" at each Southern Fried Football™ Tourstop. I would love to thank AAA for being our title sponsor again. I can't tell you how many people mentioned to me that they became AAA members by the association with the Tour and the show....and I tell you all the time that you can't hit the road in the Carolinas without your AAA membership. Budweiser has been a staple of the Southern Fried Football™ Tour from day one.....and the message to drink responsibly really hits home with me. After being hit by a drunk driver, there is not a more important message for anybody that gets behind the wheel. Bud and Bud Light have been a leader in this department and I'm proud to partner with them on spreading the message. Tom's Snacks continue to gain legions of fans....and I love having them on board with us each and every year. Tom's is the perfect tailgate partner and they are a natural fit with Southern Fried Football™. Bojangles' has been with me for a long, long time, too. It's always "Bo Time" when we hit the road on the Southern Fried Football™ Tour. Every trip started with a visit to Bojangles'. They have been a quality sponsor and partner with all of my projects whether it's the Tour, the TV tapings, radio show...you name it, you can always count on Bojangles'. Eckrich Meats was great to work with this season, too. Another perfect fit for all of your tailgating needs. I loved the relationship with Eckrich and Kirk Herbstreit.....together they made a great team on the Southern Fried Football™ Tour. House-Autry was a new sponsor this season, and they certainly spiced things up this year with their great seasonings....it was great working with them in 2010 and I look forward to an even bigger presence in 2011. Be sure to pick up your House-Autry products at your local grocery store when you plan on cooking the right way. Kangaroo Express also joined us for the first time in 2010. The Roo Team rocks and with over 1,700 locations in the Southeast; I believe we have even bigger things planned for them on the Southern Fried Football™ Tour in '11. Be sure to stop by their new stores....they are updated and the Bean Street coffee is a must. Champion and their awesome T's were great again in 2010. I always love watching the expression of the fans when we proceed to throw out the SFF t-shirts......you would think they are made of gold. Maybe they are? But I want to thank Champion for the great products and all of their support over the years.....they are simply the best. Of course, the Tour would go nowhere if it weren't for Tom Johnson Camping Center. We loved our new 35-foot RV....there's nothing like traveling in style each and every week, and Tom Johnson made sure that was the case on each of our 11 tourstops. Thanks again to Vomela and Motorsports Designs for dressing up the rig, too. There was no doubt that the Southern Fried Football™ Tour was in town when you saw us roll into town on gameday. I'd also like to thank all the fans for an amazing year on the Tour. Like I stated earlier, it was easily the best year we've ever had.....it was awesome. I can't wait for our 14th edition in 2011.... Thanks to our sponsors, our partners and the great fans for another great year of Southern Fried Football™. Chew
